Film "2 LEGS for 4 PAWS - On the Way to the Wolfgang Niegelhell Guide Dog Foundation": Please click!
A well-trained guide dog is the best and fastest and mobility aid and precious partner for dog-loving and responsible visually impaired people with basic knowledges in orientation.
A guide dog also can help to get in contact to people and to find new friends.
Rearing and training of guide dogs is a demanding and costly process.
Only one of ten dogs fulfills the necessary requirements in health and character, meets the demands of the training programme and graduates successfully.
The „Wolfgang Niegelhell Guide Dog Foundation" will be able to help guide dog applicants who are in need of a guide dog but can’t afford the horrendous costs of purchase or extraordinary costs in case of illness or accident of the dog, who are not supported by the government and have no chance to find private sponsors themselves.
Another important part of Wolfgang's "Eyes On Paws" initiative is educational work at schools and events.
